CUSTOM DESIGNED RUGS

Pandith’s has contracted with several suppliers in the rug producing countries to provide custom-made carpets, to suit the individual tastes and needs of our clientele. Both hand made woven-pile and flat-weave rugs are produced using natural fibers including wool, silk and cotton. Various weaving techniques such as cut-pile or looped-pile can be used to create a design within a design.

Carpets are produced in traditional or client furnished designs in the shape, size and colors the customer requires. Unusual variations in width can be provided such as in the case of a runner for a curving stairwell.

The average time to produce a custom-carpet is 10 to 12 weeks, although longer times will be required if the carpet is of unusual size or shape. Strike-offs can be made so that the customer can approve the design and color specifications before the actual rug is produced.
